Mark C. Neilson is the Founder of Accretive, which were each formed in October 2010 to provide an “out of the box” approach to cost and expense reduction efforts for organizations seeking best practices.

Mark also serves on the Board of Directors of Supreme Industries, (a $200 Million publicly-traded manufacturer of truck bodies and specialty vehicles), Smoker Craft, a manufacturer of recreational and fishing boats as well as several other privately held companies in various industries. He also currently serves as Board Chair for Volunteers of America of SW California, a non-profit organization, and also serves on the board of Association for Corporate Growth in San Diego. He is also a member of Corporate Directors’ Forum in San Diego, focused on director education and corporate governance issues.

Mark is a proven finance professional with a wide range of experience with both public and private companies, having facilitated both fast growth as well as turn-around situations. He is known for his strong diagnostic skills coupled with his owner-oriented management style and excellent presentation abilities. He has experience in a wide-array of industries, including building products, transportation, clean tech, newspaper, radio, advertising, sealants and adhesives and specialty seating.

Mark’s professional career includes Executive Leadership roles with Tatum San Diego and Phoenix, Towne Air Freight, Shelter Components Corporation and McGladrey & Pullen. Mr. Neilson holds a B.A. in Accounting from Ball State University and was a CPA from 1983 through 1990. Additionally, he was a 25-year volunteer, fundraiser, and board member for the Big Brothers-Big Sisters agency in his former hometown of Elkhart, Indiana. He is currently a Big Brother for the third time and is active in church and civic activities, and he often speaks at professional financial conferences and meetings.

William E. McDonough, Partner (Accretive Indiana)

Bill McDonough is a Partner for Accretive of Indiana. He is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in business and strategic planning, capital structure management, domestic and international financing, risk management, treasury operations, investor relations, credit and collections, benefits administration, pension asset management and all accounting functions. Bill is a versatile and hands-on professional with experience in building effective relationships with Boards of Directors, Wall Street investors, commercial and investment bankers and debt rating agencies. Bill is an active member of both the Financial Executives International and the National Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Work experience includes twenty years with National Steel Corporation in finance and accounting. Bill was Treasurer since 1995 and Vice President, Treasurer and CFO since 2003.

Bill holds a MBA degree from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. degree in Accounting from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife Vicki reside in Granger, Indiana with their three children.
