Unique Model Brings “Win-Win” Method to a Competitive Fundraising Environment

United Way of Elkhart County (“UWEC”) announced that it is partnering with Accretive of Indiana (“Accretive”). Accretive works with companies to identify and implement operating expense savings. As a part of Accretive’s business model they encourage companies to share some portion of found savings with area nonprofits and Accretive also donates 5-15% of their revenues to nonprofits. For over 90 years, UWEC has been a leader in advancing the common good in Elkhart County by partnering with local companies. With this new partnership with UWEC, Accretive will assist local businesses in reducing their (non-payroll) costs and continue to make an impact in the community by sharing “found” money.
