August 31, 2016 | Mark Neilson Matthew Booker (left), Executive Director for San Diego Leadership Forum (SDLF) and Greg Brown of Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) hold a $2,800 check from Accretive of San Diego. The donation represents a partnership of shared savings and is projected to grow substantially as savings are realized for more organizations in the San Diego area. San Diego Leadership Forum has begun to see the benefits of its collaboration with Accretive of San Diego utilizing Accretive’s unique PinPoint FoundRaising™ model. The program generates savings for-profit businesses and other organizations and a portion of the found savings is pre-designated to be shared with one or more nonprofits, like SDLF. “I love the Accretive win-win model,” stated Matthew Booker, Executive Director and Founder of the San Diego Leadership Forum. “There is no downside for businesses or any organization as this approach frees up funds from an unusual source – found money…. and we very are pleased to share in those savings. Everyone seems much more willing to share ‘found’ money (savings) than they might be when asked to donate from existing resources. We hope to get more companies involved since they benefit financially first, then donate a portion.” Greg Brown of Expense Reduction Analysts added, “Partnering with Accretive allows us to deliver meaningful cash-flow back to our clients while also making an impact for nonprofits like SDLF.” “As an SDLF board member, active partner and donor, I am excited to see some of Accretive’s revenues allocated to help grow and support the organization” noted Mark Neilson, Managing Partner of Accretive of San Diego. “ We would love to see more organizations use this model as it taps into a previously overlooked source of funding for nonprofits – FOUND money….which every organization, for-profit or not, has available to it but are often too busy to consider the possibility.” San Diego Leadership Forum (SDLF) is a faith-based nonprofit helping to empower those placed in positions of leadership in San Diego, who gather in small forums of their peers to help them to engage their passions in order to have an eternal impact. SDLF seeks to support the top influencers of San Diego as they wrestle with the leadership challenges in the context of using their influence to change the face of San Diego.
